Dalaman is the new Tenerife, the number of enquiries to Dalaman has more than doubled in the last 12 months. Once upon a time flight only enquiries were dominated by Tenerife and the other Canary Islands - it seems today everyone wants to go to Turkey. Since 1st January this year 23% of all flight only bookings we have taken have been for flights to Dalaman. It seems that customers want a cheap deal outside the Euro Zone, and Turkey is offering real value for money for people who want their Pound to go further. If you are looking for the best deals on flights to Turkey we recommend looking for flights leaving at the start of the summer season (early May), the lowest priced flight to Turkey we have seen however is a 6 night duration going from London at £110 at the moment. The prices for peak dates such as school summer holidays are going up fast, we have seen some dates go up from £220 to £320-50 in a matter of days due to sheer volume of demand. Our advice is that if you want to go to Turkey book now as the seats will not be there in the lates market.
